Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is seeking an experienced Security Officer to lead and coordinate shift operations, ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, enforcing policy, and collaborating with the Environment of Care committee. This full-time role is evenings, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare security or related field preferred.
• State Guard Certification Registration Card preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

• Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety.
• Participates in employee awareness and education.
• Driving as needed for company business.

• State Driver’s license upon hire.
• Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.
