Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services in Middleborough, MA is seeking a Lead Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time position. You will provide PT assistant services under a licensed PT, coordinate with the PT for evaluations, and lead a collaborative care team in a SNF/long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
• Act as a leader/mentor in your specific discipline.
• Assume job responsibilities of the rehab supervisor in his/her absence.
