Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services, part of the Enhance Therapies family, is seeking a Lead Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Carlisle, PA team. This full-time role supports licensed therapists and leads clinical operations in SNF and long-term care settings.

You'll mentor staff, coordinate patient care under PT supervision, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to ongoing professional development with our extensive CEU resources and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
• Act as a leader/mentor in your specific discipline.
• Assume job responsibilities of the rehab supervisor in his/her absence.
