Job summary

Nova Southwestern University is seeking the primary leader to oversee the ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program. The role includes supervising residents, recruiting, and aligning the training program with accreditation standards while ensuring high-quality clinical care continues.

Ideal candidate has board certification in Psychiatry, a terminal degree (DO/MD), and prior program leadership or teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Psychiatry and terminal degree required.
• Experience as Program Director or Associate Program Director preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in clinical, academic or administrative role.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees administration and operation of psychiatry residency and residents.
• Provides resident recruitment and supervision.
• Maintains a training program aligned with ACGME requirements.
• Ensures all aspects of psychiatry program meet accreditation standards.
• Provides clinical care to patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
