Job summary

Quant is seeking a Protocol Engineering Lead to own the smart-contract release train, oversee external audits on every release, and manage our fork in relation to upstream Optimism as production on the OP Stack draws near.

You will translate complex chain behavior for reliability engineers, security teams, and banking partners, shaping robust, auditable protocol architecture from New York.

Qualifications

• Deep Solidity and EVM experience on contracts that held real value and went through external audit.
• Strong understanding of rollup architecture, ideally the OP Stack.
• Experience maintaining a fork of a large upstream codebase and the costs involved.
• Ability to explain chain behavior to reliability engineers, security engineers and banks.
