Job summary

Terray Therapeutics seeks a creative and experienced structural biologist/protein biochemist to work onsite full-time. You will lead protein purification, generate constructs, and support assay design within multidisciplinary teams using Terray’s EMMI platform.

The role requires a PhD with 10+ years of experience, hands-on purification across systems, and a strategic use of structural biology to guide drug discovery. Strong collaboration and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in structural biology/biochemistry/biophysics with 10+ years of experience.
• Extensive protein purification experience across multiple systems (E. coli, insect, mammalian).
• Experience leveraging structure to evaluate drug targets and small molecule binding.

Responsibilities

• Guide construct design and purification strategy across programs.
• Collaborate with biology, chemistry, platform, data, and computational teams.
• Oversee protein quality control and stability across assays.
• Maintain protein inventory and workflows in Benchling.
• Apply protein design to assay development.
