Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prosecute misdemeanor traffic cases in arraignments, hearings, jury trials, and bench trials.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff within the trial team.
  • Review case records, warrants, reports, and statements; interview witnesses and victims.
  • Research, prepare, and conduct motion hearings and court proceedings.
  • Negotiate pleas and prepare plea recommendations for negotiations with defense attorneys.
  • Conduct jury and bench trials; prepare court documents and exhibits.
