Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Senior/Lead Propulsion and Fluids Production Engineer to own production engineering strategy and execution for propulsion and fluids hardware across multiple spacecraft programs. You will build scalable manufacturing processes, lead production engineering teams, and partner with design engineering to drive manufacturability from concept through high‑rate production.

Level and compensation will be determined by experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing, or related technical discipline.
• Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing engineering at responsible level.
• Ability to influence design decisions and present technical information to diverse audiences.
• Hands-on propulsion/fluids fabrication and testing experience.
• Experience with PLM, CAD, MES and data management controls.
• AS9100 experience; ability to work with classified hardware in SCIFs or SAP facilities.
• Experience in propulsion components and systems manufacturing domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of propulsion and fluids production engineers.
• Own production engineering strategy and execution for propulsion and fluids components and systems.
• Drive technical reviews with design engineering to ensure manufacturability.
• Set up and scale manufacturing capabilities for developmental programs and rate production.
• Develop technical documentation and work instructions for fabrication, assembly, testing.
• Directly support production on the floor to address bottlenecks and issues.
• Drive continuous improvements and corrective actions using production metrics.
• Engage with Supply Chain on vendor qualification and buy/make strategies.
• Oversee calibration and certification of fluids and propulsion ground support equipment.
