M. J. Electric, LLC, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a Proposal Manager for the Utility Division.

You will oversee the proposal process across regions, coach the team, and ensure timely, high-quality submissions aligned with owner requirements while coordinating with estimating, project management, and field leadership. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years in proposal or marketing roles, plus strong writing, organizational, and compliance skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of proposal/marketing experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong writing and editing for owner requirements.
• Interpret RFPs and bid documents effectively.
• Excellent organizational and deadline management.
• Familiarity with ISNetworld/Avetta.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor the proposal team across regions.
• Implement and standardize the Proposal Process Policy.
• Develop vision and goals for proposal submissions.
• Prepare RFP responses and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with estimating, PM, and field leadership.
• Lead timely, quality deliverables and accountability.
• Maintain prequalification, EMR, and insurance data.
• Track bid dates, pre-bid meetings, addenda, RFIs, submissions.
