Job summary

Deloitte’s Government and Public Services (GPS) Pursuit Center of Excellence is seeking a senior graphic designer to lead the development and production of client proposals and related business development materials in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure branding, accessibility, and delivery requirements are met, while producing high-quality print and digital collateral and maintaining consistent design themes across multiple proposals and presentations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design experience.
• Bachelor's degree with preferred concentration in Marketing, Communications, Art, or Business.
• 4+ years of experience in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel; Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• 4+ years of experience in typography, layout, composition, color theory, and information design.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, and produce a full range of high-impact print and digital collateral to include infographics, presentations, proposals, etc.
• Review solicitation requirements, style guides, and submission instructions to ensure all documents comply with format, branding, accessibility, and delivery requirements.
• Perform desktop publishing activities, including document formatting, layout design, template application, pagination, graphics integration, and production quality assurance.
• Conduct detailed quality reviews to verify document structure, formatting, section organization, fonts, headers/footers, tables, graphics, and other visual elements align with established requirements.
• Develop and manage the overarching design themes using design building blocks: cover, callouts, iconography, infographics, photography, language.
• Strategically interface and brainstorm with senior PPMDs about visual displays of information. Grasp the substance of business issues being communicated. Re-articulate visual options that enhance or clarify audience understanding.
