Job summary

Air Products is seeking a professional to join the PROS Group, supporting small capital projects under $5M across North America. Hybrid work is available. You will handle SAP project setup, approvals, cost reporting, and coordination with project engineers and accounting to keep projects on track.

The role requires 5–15 years in plant projects, strong SAP and MS Office skills, and the ability to obtain TWIC and refinery background checks. Commitment to safety and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Close SAP project structures as directed.
• Support users with complex questions and issues; provide training as needed.

Air Products is seeking a motivated professional to join our Project Resource and Outage Support (PROS) Group, where you'll play a vital role in supporting small capital projects valued under $5 million across our North American operations. In this role, you will contribute to strategic planning, turnaround preparation, and outage execution while helping ensure operational excellence at our Hydrogen (H₂/HyCO) and Air Separation Unit (ASU) facilities. Job Responsibilities

• Create assigned SAP project, route Capital Project Request, and monitor for approval
• Submit Capitalizations as directed on monthly WIP report.
• Provide status update for project engineers and gatekeeping report
• Submit Capital Asset Disposal Requests and monitor for approval
• Create capital project cost reports as directed
• Close SAP project structures as directed
• Act on reports from project accounting and accounts payable to update projects and resolve issues.
• Maintain an active list of sites with Cost Centers, Profit Centers, contract end dates, and DOAs for EGC region.
• SAP Power User for Project Systems
• Designate new worker SAP roles.
• Support users with complex questions and issues that may arise.
• Provide training as needed to new and existing resources within the group.
• Works professionally and harmoniously with co-workers, supervisors, management, support personnel, program participants, and business-related persons
• Applies positive and constructive attitude toward resolution of problems and conflicts
• Accepts direction, feedback, and supervision
• Demonstrates ability to remain calm in demanding situations
• Ability to work within and promote a teamwork philosophy
• Makes good use of time, completing assigned tasks in a timely manner

• Able to achieve various State mandated certifications (TWIC, OSHA, etc.) and other requirements as may be deemed necessary.
• Pass Criminal background investigation.

• High ethical standards - unwilling to compromise on worker safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Demonstrates positive, supportive, and cooperative behavior in interacting with co-workers, supervisors and management.
