Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Surveyor to join our Survey/Geospatial team in Mt. Laurel, NJ. You will analyze boundary surveys, perform QC checks, and compute layouts for subdivisions, roads, and utilities while guiding field and office staff on complex projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, an associate degree or higher, and proficiency in Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and MicroStation. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical equivalent required or preferred.
• At least 5+ years of related surveying experience.
• LSIT or PLS certification preferred.
• Proficient in Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare complete boundary surveys with data and reasoned property line location.
• Perform QC review on reports, plans, and contract documents for accuracy.
• Compute layouts for subdivisions, roads, lots, buildings and utilities.
• Assist staff in preparing reports, plans and other contract documents.
• Organize field and office staff work for complex projects.
• Assist in preparing project/task work plans and guiding staff.
• Monitor work and supervise assigned staff or sub-consultants.
