Job summary

Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is seeking a Project Superintendent to manage complex construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, accuracy, and budget alignment. The role involves coordinating a skilled team, aligning with the General Superintendent, and maintaining detailed records on site.

Major responsibilities include staffing leadership, daily site briefings, equipment and material coordination, and ongoing mentorship of field personnel within the Operations department.

Qualifications

• Five years field construction experience.
• Two years of previous experience in job oversight or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Directly interface with Project Manager and report to General Superintendent.
• Ensure staffing with appropriate leadership and qualified employees for each job.
• Attend daily job site safety and task assignment meetings.
• Review daily equipment inspection sheets and TSA's.
• Schedule and coordinate PMs and R&M with the Operations team.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to job sites.
• Manage emergency schedule changes and weekend staffing needs.
• Participate in annual employee reviews with General Superintendent.
• Identify developmental opportunities for field employees.
• Mentor and coach assigned job site leadership.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
