Abilis in Greenwich, CT is seeking a Lead Instructor for the Project SEARCH Internship to Employment Program. You will develop and coordinate the program, deliver the employability skills curriculum, and work with interns, skills trainers, host site staff, families, and the Program Manager to reach competitive employment outcomes.

The position requires a teaching credential or Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, plus at least two years’ experience supporting at‑risk

Qualifications

• Education: Teaching Credential or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science or a related field.
• Experience: 2 years working with at risk populations or people with disabilities.
• Ability to develop and coordinate employability skills curricula.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate the Project SEARCH program and provide instruction for interns.
• Deliver the employability skills curriculum and collaborate with interns' teams.
• Coordinate with skills trainers, host site staff, families, and Program Manager.
• Prepare resumes/portfolios documenting skills and internship experiences.
