Job summary

Summit Industrial is seeking a seasoned Scheduler to support the site team on a Houston project. You will develop and maintain the project schedule, apply planning theory, manage baselines, and perform What If analyses to guide decisions with the Site Manager and Director, Project Controls.

You will oversee earned value, coordinate subcontractor schedules, and drive weekly reviews of constraints while ensuring on-time, under-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 5 years of scheduling experience.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling in P6.
• Ability to create schedules autonomously.
• Review of contract documents for scheduling implications.
• Knowledge of constraints, KPIs, and variances.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the project schedule and baselines.
• Apply planning theory and methods to scheduling.
• Manage schedule changes and document accordingly.
• Execute What If analyses to determine best actions.
• Coordinate schedule with Site Manager, Project Manager and Director.
• Lead weekly reviews of Submittal, Package Release, and Procurement Schedules.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly schedule reviews.
• Resource leveling to balance work fronts and resources.
• Oversee Earned Value processes and reporting.
• Coordinate with client schedulers and incorporate constraints.
