Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a seasoned Project Scheduler to manage baseline and update scheduling for major heavy civil projects in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. You will lead a small team, ensure schedules align with contract requirements, and communicate progress to owners, clients, and design engineers.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in project scheduling, strong Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. Federal background checks apply.

Qualifications

• This role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project scheduling experience in heavy civil and heavy industrial construction preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud is required; strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of schedulers to create and maintain baseline schedules for awarded contracts.
• Ensure updates conform to contract specs and are ready for government submittals.
• Prepare comprehensive schedule narratives with each formal update.
• Integrate subcontractor look-ahead schedules into the master schedule and revise logic as needed.
• Analyze critical path updates, communicate status to stakeholders, and lead monthly reviews.
