Stadler Rail AG in Salt Lake City is seeking a Lead Project Mechanical Engineer (TPM-M) to join our team shaping the mobility of tomorrow. The role focuses on designing state-of-the-art passenger trains, managing interfaces, and leading mechanical engineering efforts across international projects.

You will own mechanical topics, develop specifications, documents, and test plans, and collaborate with Production, Procurement, Engineering and Quality teams while ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent training.
• 3–5 years' experience in rail vehicle, defense, aerospace, or similar.
• Experience handling challenging projects in an international environment.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Business fluent in English (German a bonus).

Aufgaben

• Handling mechanical design on international projects for modular vehicle families.
• Implement customer specifications in line with national standards and regulations.
• Own all mechanical topics on the Project Team.
• Develop concepts, technical specifications, production documentation, test planning and type tests.
• Plan and manage internal engineering activities including interfaces and approvals.
• Create engineering documents.
• Communicate with customers and authorities and other external bodies.
• Communicate technical solutions to Production, Procurement, Engineering and Quality Teams.
• Implement engineering changes per change process.
