Ben Hur Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead daily project activities and serve as the primary liaison with customers, architects, and engineers. The role focuses on planning, coordination, and execution of structural steel and precast erection across multiple Midwest offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural/civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management / project engineering related to structural steel and precast erection.
• Ability to interpret contract drawings, specifications and shop drawings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Obtain bidding documents and other pertinent information from the estimator.
• Manage and estimate change orders on existing contracts.
• Coordinate collection and dissemination of contract information with owner, general contractor and job superintendent.
• Determine quality parameters and any special safety requirements per specifications.
• Manage all field surveys and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain erection plan as part of site plan.
• Manage logistics for manpower, tools and equipment for each job.
• Determine delivery and erection sequences.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules for on-time completion.
• Communicate contract requirements to subcontractors, job superintendent, equipment manager, crane supplier.
• Disseminate contract safety and quality system requirements to field forces.
• Manage activities related to drawing distribution.
• Develop and process RFIs through the project system.
• Coordinate shipping between field, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Job cost reporting.
