Job summary

Ben’s Structural Fabrication, Inc. in Waite Park, Minnesota, is seeking a Project Manager to drive structural steel projects from award to completion.

You will own project schedules, budgets, documentation, changes, and customer communication, coordinating across internal and external teams to deliver projects safely, profitably. This full-time role requires three or more years of progressive project management experience in structural steel fabrication or construction.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of progressive project management experience in structural steel fabrication or related industry.
• Experience managing construction projects through multiple phases and coordinating with various teams.
• Experience reading drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage Projects from Award Through Completion: own schedules, resources, and deliverables while supporting safety, quality, schedule, budget, and customer expectations.
• Manage Contracts and Project Financials: review requirements, budgets, and change exposure; monitor performance and risks.
• Oversee Project Controls and Documentation: handle setup, drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and close-out records.
• Build Strong Customer and Stakeholder Relationships: communicate with clients, general contractors, and vendors; attend meetings.
• Coordinate Cross-Functional Project Execution: align Operations, Supply Chain, Detailing, Estimating on drawings and materials.
• Identify and Resolve Project Challenges: monitor scope, costs, and constructability; coordinate solutions with stakeholders.
