Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years PM experience in electric utility, energy, transmission, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong experience managing large capital projects and budgets.
  • 5+ years of project financial forecasting and reporting experience.
  • 5+ years of team leadership experience.
  • Primavera P6, Procore, and/or PowerPlan experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • PMP, APM, PE, or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic electric transmission and capital construction projects from initiation through completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to established quality standards.
  • Manage permitting, siting, regulatory approvals, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, engineering teams, and internal business partners.
  • Present project status updates to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management processes.
  • Mentor and support junior project management staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Position Summary
