Job summary

Stantec’s Colorado Construction Management Group is seeking a Project Manager with strong heavy civil transportation construction experience. The position offers flexibility to be based anywhere in Colorado and involves on-site oversight of contractors and teams.

The PM will supervise a team, advise clients on issues, and support pre-construction activities such as planning, estimating, and logistics. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10 years’ experience in heavy civil transportation construction, 5 in leadership roles.
• Colorado Department of Transportation or Local Agency project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management leadership to the project team and the client.
• Lead Stantec’s CM oversight on a government contract.
• Manage a diverse team of employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor reporting and budget with client-approved remedial actions.
• Provide health, safety leadership and develop project safety plans.
