Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates financial analyses, engineering/design, legal review, permitting and negotiations.
• Coordinates due diligence with internal groups for proper analysis and structuring of projects.
• Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection.
• Constructs contractual arrangements for project development and negotiates with consultants/subcontractors.
• Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements.
• Fosters external relationships with customers and community stakeholders.

Position Specific Description

The role will manage all aspects of project development, including land acquisition, permitting, environmental compliance, and community relations. This role requires a strong understanding of energy infrastructure, regulatory requirements, and local community dynamics. The Lead Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders, government agencies, and environmental groups to ensure smooth project execution from inception to construction. Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills are essential for success in this position.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the day to day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost effective and competitive result
• Leads and coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations
• Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
• Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection
• Constructs contractual arrangements for project development
• Negotiates agreements with consultants and subcontractors
• Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
• Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
