Job summary

Procon Inc in Kernersville, NC seeks a Project Manager to deliver construction projects on time and within budget. You will lead project teams, coordinate with clients, manage budgets, schedules, and procurement, and ensure work complies with contract documents.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, preparing cost-to-complete budgets, issuing subcontracts and change orders, tracking progress, and generating RFI responses.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Three or more years of construction experience is required; commercial concrete construction experience is preferred.
• The ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English is required; the ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
• Advanced computer skills are required.
• Advanced blueprint reading skills are required.
• Experience with contract interpretation and negotiation is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Apple is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Project is preferred.
• Experience with Bluebeam is preferred.
• Experience with Procore is preferred.
• Experience with Foundation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices and submit project billings.
• Manage payroll and time card approvals.
• Review contracts and ensure work aligns with documents.
• Communicate with project team and customers.
• Review drawings and ensure latest drawings are distributed.
• Create and manage monthly cost-to-complete budgets.
• Track production and manage Change Orders.
• Understand and update the overall project schedule; create milestone schedules and look-ahead planning.
• Select vendors and issue purchase orders; select subs and issue subcontracts.
• Submit and distribute product data information and shop drawings; generate and manage RFIs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
