Job summary

Crain Construction, Inc. in Nashville seeks a Project Manager to lead complex, $15M+ commercial builds on our established GC team.

You will own planning, scheduling, budgeting and field coordination, mentor engineers, and coordinate with owners, architects and trade partners. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial PM experience and a related bachelor’s degree (or 8 years of experience); we offer a comprehensive benefits package and a vehicle allowance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 8 years of applicable experience.
• At least 5 years managing commercial projects up to $15 million.
• Strong financial, scheduling and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, directing Project Engineers and Assistant PMs, and coordinate with the Superintendent.
• Hold preconstruction and job meetings, and meet regularly with the owner.
• Resolve design and detail issues with owners, design teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Establish and manage the overall project schedule in coordination with the Superintendent.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor work, and adjust as the job changes.
• Review, code and approve subcontractor and vendor pay applications and invoices.
