We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lead Project Manager to join our team at K&A Engineering remotely in New York. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Role Expectations:

• Manages all aspects of Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC)/Service projects, including risk to cost, schedule, quality.
• Responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope in the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Manages and leads medium teams of multi-discipline professionals.
• Maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Promoting a culture of “can do attitude” and “say do” ratio with project deadline and quality across the team.
• Coordinates and integrates the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team, including the activities of all third-party companies contributing to the initiative.
• Promote a proactive safety culture by encouraging open communication, reporting unsafe conditions, and suggesting improvements to safety practices.
• Diligently ensure compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety inspections, and identifying potential hazards to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Management or related field from an accredited college or university required.
• 10+ years’ experience of EPC Project Management experience focused on high voltage substation.
• Strong knowledge in project management, project controls and/or engineering.
• Basic understanding of design and engineering process, how to run design review meetings and obtain and track feedback from the stakeholders.
• PMP is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
