Job summary

John Shomaker & Associates, Inc. (JSAI), a Geo-Logic Associates Company, is seeking a Project Hydrogeologist.

You will support Principals on diverse projects across water planning, environmental work, surface water investigations, and groundwater modeling. Ideal candidates have groundwater flow modeling experience, strong client interaction skills, and the ability to manage field data collection and reporting while coordinating with senior staff and clients.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Geology, Hydrogeology, or water resource related field with 5 yrs experience, or M.S. in Geology, Hydrogeology, or water resource related field with 4 yrs experience, or M.S. in Geology or Hydrogeology, PG license, with 3 yrs experience U.S.
• Train and manage staff to facilitate learning
• Ability to work with clients to accomplish project goals
• Use of MS Office and hydrologic modeling tools

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and staff from start to finish
• Perform hydrogeologic data analysis using analytical methods and numerical models
• Field work and data collection for hydrogeologic evaluations
• Develop and maintain databases and generate technical reports
• Attend meetings and coordinate with clients on project goals
