Job summary

Daniel B. Stephens & Associates (DBS&A), a Geo-Logic Associates company, is seeking an engineering professional to support planning, design and construction of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure across the region.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team on water distribution, wastewater facilities, pump stations and related utility improvements. The role requires a civil/environmental background, 4+ years’ experience, travel to project sites, strong communication skills, and a path

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering.
• 4+ years of professional experience in water and wastewater engineering or municipal public works.
• Willing to travel to project sites, including field investigations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking, plus independent decision-making skills.
• OSHA HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
• Experience with state and federal regulations for public infrastructure projects.
• Ability to coordinate with regulatory agencies, municipalities and stakeholders.
• Project management experience or desire to grow into PM role.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within two years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, and construction of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to water distribution, wastewater collection, pump stations, treatment facilities, storage tanks, and utility improvements.
• Support cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, GIS specialists, and CAD designers across multiple states.
• Prepare technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and clients to ensure compliance and approvals.
