Job summary

Pennoni seeks a PE Diver to lead Underwater and Topside Inspection Teams from Baltimore, MD or Newark, DE. This role drives inspections of bridges and waterfronts across several states and CONUS, ensuring NBIS and OSHA compliance and high-quality reporting.

Requirements include PE licensure, 7+ years underwater inspection, ADCI certification, and current USDOT physical. Competitive salary ($120k–$150k) and generous benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer required; seven plus years underwater inspection experience.
• NBIS underwater/topside team leader requirements; diving certification current.
• Valid driver’s license; capable of field work in all weather and conditions.
• Able to draft/complete inspection reports with clear client communication.
• Willingness to travel as projects require.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwater and topside inspection teams for bridges and waterfronts.
• Perform inspections in DE, MD, DC, VA, PA, NJ and CONUS; travel as needed.
• Draft and review inspection reports for clients with clear findings.
• Maintain diving equipment per Safety Manual and spec sheets.
• Ensure quality and safety in line with NBIS and OSHA standards.
• Plan, schedule, and perform bridge inspections per owner requirements.
