Job summary

Triton Systems, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for Ocean Systems to lead one or more development teams focused on subsea and ocean technologies, including unmanned vehicles, sensors, and marine systems.

You will guide cross-disciplinary R&D from concept to prototype and ensure solutions meet Navy and commercial customer priorities. You will design mechanical systems, integrate electrical and software components, and produce high-quality CAD models for fabrication while coordinating schedules

Qualifications

BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Ocean Engineering; advanced degree a plus.
5+ years of R&D experience in relevant fields.
US citizenship required due to government/contract work.
Experience with subsea, marine robotics and ocean technologies advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead a project team and provide technical direction from concept to field deployment.
Manage schedules, risks, and customer relationships throughout projects.
Design, build, test mechanical systems for ocean environments; integrate electrical and software components.
Hands-on assembly and prototyping; rapidly develop CAD models for fabrication.
Develop technology roadmaps and transition plans; communicate progress clearly.
