Job summary

TGS International Group seeks an experienced Project Controls Manager to support the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects across North America. You will oversee project controls across the full lifecycle, with responsibility for cost management, forecasting, scheduling, risk management and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls, budgeting and forecasting within construction/engineering environments.
• Experience with scheduling and critical path analysis.
• Knowledge of risk management, change control and mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project controls systems across cost, schedule and risk.
• Monitor budgets, costs and forecasts, identify variances and potential overruns.
• Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections and performance reports throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee schedules, baselines, progress and delays impact on costs and timing.
• Collaborate with project managers, planners, commercial teams and site personnel for accurate reporting.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Develop mitigation strategies and recovery measures for cost overruns and delays.
• Establish baselines, change control processes and performance indicators.
• Produce project controls dashboards and management updates with clear cost, schedule and risk visibility.
• Support change management, variations and delay analysis and their impact on budgets and timelines.
• Analyze trends to identify issues early and recommend corrective actions.
• Drive best practice across project controls processes and governance.
