Job summary

DOMOKUR + ASSOCIATES, an in-office Akron, OH architectural firm, seeks a Project Manager / Registered Architect to lead diverse projects from concept to construction completion.

You will oversee programming, design development, and construction administration while managing client relationships and project teams. Strong leadership, coding knowledge, and ALD/BIM proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of architectural experience, including experience managing projects through multiple phases of design and construction.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing architectural projects, clients, consultants, budgets, and schedules.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction documentation, building codes, permitting, and construction administration;
• Proficiency with relevant architectural software and familiarity with sustainable design or LEED standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple architectural projects from programming and schematic design through construction documents and administration.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents for quality, accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables.
• Serve as trusted advisor and primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients.
• Coordinate internal teams and external consultants across disciplines.
• Mentor and guide junior staff and ensure project documentation meets firm standards.
