Job summary

Derck & Edson is seeking an experienced Architect for an on-site role in Lititz, PA. The project work encompasses campuses, downtowns, athletics, and specialty spaces, with leadership from schematic design through construction documents.

The candidate will interface with clients, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with in-house and consultant teams, and ensure codes and energy requirements are met. Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Project Architect or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, building systems coordination, and assemblies.
• Proficiency in construction document detailing.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management for overseeing schedules, budgets, and team coordination.
• Proficiency with Revit and SketchUp; other software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead schematic design through construction documentation for a wide variety of project types.
• Interface with clients and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Review codes and ordinances and ensure energy code compliance.
• Coordinate design team and consultants throughout the design and construction process.
• Assist in product selection and specification coordination.
