Job summary

San Bernardino County is seeking Program Specialists II to perform program and operational studies, assist the department director, and lead program development staff. The role emphasizes contract compliance, data analysis, and policy development.

Applicants must have an associate degree or higher, at least two years of relevant experience at the Program Specialist I level, and strong analytical and writing skills. Travel may be required; visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of full-time experience as Program Specialist I or equivalent.
• Experience in research, planning, analysis, and contract development/compliance is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a qualifying field is ideal but not required if an Associate degree is held.

Responsibilities

• Perform program and operational studies as an assistant to the department director or lead program development staff.
• Monitor contract compliance and analyze data to develop project plans and policies.
• Provide technical writing and gather knowledge assets/tools for agency programs.
