Job summary

Best Buddies International is seeking a Lead, Program Manager to drive mission through school and community programs. You will recruit, engage, train, and support volunteers, building a strong, inclusive network across chapters. Travel and evening/weekend work are expected as needed to fulfill responsibilities.

The role reports to the Director of Programs and focuses on leadership development, chapter management, and partnerships while maintaining high volunteer engagement and program quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-4 years relevant experience in volunteer and committee management.
• Experience managing and motivating volunteers.
• Comfort engaging with people with IDD (intellectual/developmental disabilities).
• Ability to develop and balance multiple relationships and get results.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate leadership trainings for volunteer roles; focus on engagement and mission advancement.
• Recruit and manage volunteer committees; oversee chapters and partnerships.
• Lead state events and conferences; coordinate training opportunities and onboarding.
• Support regional fundraising opportunities and partnerships.
• Oversee data integrity and compliance with Best Buddies policies.
