Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks a Program Finance Manager in Atlanta to guide financial oversight across programs of increasing complexity. You will provide financial counsel, lead project finance controls, and drive cash flow and profitability analysis, while developing plans and supervising a finance team.

The role emphasizes adherence to governance, collaboration with clients and internal teams, and mentoring staff within the program finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of financial, project accounting/analysis, or related experience; 11 years in lieu of education.
• Experience with transportation and infrastructure projects preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT contracting, project controls, billing, revenue recognition and financial management in AEC.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial counsel to the Program Manager and project teams.
• Provide SME in project finance and controls oversight; optimize cash performance and gross margin.
• Assist in decision-making; develop policies, plans and procedures.
• Develop and maintain the Project Financial Plan and related control plans.
• Direct and oversee financial analysis tasks, including fee proposals, burn/revenue analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee month-end reporting and revenue recognition per governance requirements.
• Guide project finance teams on updated deliverables to stakeholders.
• Manage cash management goals and profitability analysis.
• Deliver updates on program performance to office management.
• Mentor and manage project finance staff.
