Job summary

OKSI is seeking a Production/Manufacturing Technician III to support fabrication, assembly, testing, inventory, and shipment of hardware systems across our programs, including drones, optical assemblies, and electronic housings. You will take on the more complex builds and troubleshooting, mentor junior technicians, and help shape process improvement as we scale.

Qualifications

• Read mechanical drawings, BOMs, and technical docs.
• Hands-on experience with assembling and troubleshooting mechanical/electronic systems.
• Able to work from ambiguous instructions on complex builds.
• Familiar with basic shop tools and ESD/safe bench practices.

Responsibilities

• Procure parts and maintain accurate inventory of components.
• Assemble and troubleshoot complex systems; lead instruction revisions.
• Run tests on subassemblies and full systems; document results and root cause.
• Package, label, and ship finished hardware per handling protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers on build requirements and manufacturability feedback.
• Mentor junior technicians on the floor; maintain assembly records and test docs.
• Lead workflow improvements to boost safety and productivity.
