Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions in South Windsor, CT seeks a Supervisor for Production Technical Services on the Early Weeknights shift. This on-site role leads the Production Technical Support Department and coordinates maintenance, parts inventory, and throughput to meet cost targets.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree or technical training with 5+ years in production equipment operation and repair, including insert/bindery systems and electronics.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Technical/Trade School required with 5+ years’ experience in operation and repair of production equipment.
• Proven proficiency in operation and repair of insertion and bindery equipment; electronics and electrical circuit experience required.
• Electrical and electronics repair experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of reporting tools Jet/IQ and Microsoft Office.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and mechanical support to all production mechanics.
• Monitors production workflow and ensures timely equipment repairs.
• Maintains parts inventory with vendor details and costs.
• Tracks preventive maintenance and ensures adherence to schedules.
• Keeps informed on new technology and equipment used by the teams.
• May assume Department Manager responsibilities during absences.
• Aims to meet or exceed cost per unit targets on shift.
• Monitors machine throughput and performance.
• Coaches and develops technicians under direct report.
• Ensures proper completion of administrative duties.
