Job summary

The Line Up in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Production Surface Design Supervisor to lead the Sublimation and Embellishment teams, delivering high-quality work on schedule. This role supervises production staff, supports continuous improvement, and collaborates with the Production Manager to meet goals and customer expectations.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in apparel production, decorated apparel experience, and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in apparel production.
• Apparel degree or relevant work knowledge of 2+ years.
• Decorated apparel experience required (embroidery, heat transfer, sublimation).
• Dance, cheer, or skating background is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Production employees within Sublimation and Embellishment departments (Rhinestones, Sequins/Spangles, Embroidery and Vinyl).
• Oversee day-to-day operations, workload distribution, and workflow within assigned departments.
• Collaborate with Production Manager and other supervisors to align with schedules and priorities.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Design & Development, and Production teams to ensure quality results.
• Develop, document, and implement processes and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to processes, quality standards, and QA checks.
• Identify recurring challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify equipment repair needs and coordinate maintenance.
• Assist with vendor communication and ordering supplies.
• Onboard, train, and develop new team members.
• Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews.
• Lead, motivate, and support the team to achieve department goals.
