Job summary

Conner Industries is seeking a Supervisor 1 for our Hogansville, GA location. The role leads a production team to ensure quality and on-time delivery, while upholding safety and efficient operations.

We offer full benefits and require 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in supervision, plus experience with inventory, ERP, and lean initiatives. Forklift certification is a plus as is a mechanically inclined mindset for wood processing facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with inventory management; forklift certification a plus.
• Mechanically inclined; wood manufacturing familiarity.
• Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt training is a plus.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office.
• Prior experience in ERP or other scheduling systems.
• Great communicator and team-oriented.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees and allocate workload for saw and assembly.
• Train employees in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate orders to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Lead paperwork processing to ensure accuracy in material usage and waste management.
• Complete scheduling and reporting in the ERP system to support order processing.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and support maintenance and changeovers.
• Coach employees and continually support a positive work environment.
• Oversee and conduct training on equipment operation and safety initiatives.
• Participate in projects and lean efforts to drive continual improvement.
• Be a visible leader, leading by example with work ethic and attitude.
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned.
