Job summary

Huhtamaki in Waterville, ME is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a shift in a manufacturing facility. The role covers supervising personnel, ensuring process knowledge, and maintaining equipment performance to meet quality and production targets.

You will manage training, shift handovers, safety, and paperwork accuracy. The position requires operating in an indoor/outdoor industrial environment with rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends/overtime as needed, and adherence to PPE and plant

Qualifications

• Knowledge of reactors, instruments, dryers, centrifuges, filters and pumps used in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with plant processes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all personnel and operations on the shift.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment and reports problems.
• Trains and evaluates operators; ensures policies and procedures are followed.
• Oversees loading/unloading and paperwork accuracy.
• Ensures safety, quality and housekeeping on the shift.
• Completes run sheets and communicates plant status to leadership.
