Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; college coursework in manufacturing or operations preferred.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment.
• Familiar with OSHA/MSHA safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production/reporting systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate employees.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, throughput, and cost objectives.
• Enforce and promote safe work practices with PPE, training, and hazard recognition.
• Monitor production performance, equipment operation, and staffing levels; address downtime and inefficiencies.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance efforts and coordinate repairs.
• Train employees on production processes, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
• Learn key production positions to provide coverage when needed.
• Report safety incidents, near misses, and environmental concerns; support investigations.
