Job summary

Jersey Precast in Hamilton, NJ seeks a Production Leadman to lead a 4–6 person crew in the fabrication of precast and prestressed concrete products. You will supervise daily production, coordinate setup, placement, stressing, pouring, curing and stripping, and ensure work aligns with drawings and specs.

You’ll train workers, monitor KPIs, enforce safety, and drive quality improvements while maintaining efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of precast/prestressed concrete manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading or supervising a production crew.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/production drawings.
• Knowledge of concrete production and prestressing principles.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Lawfully documented to work in the US; E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a small crew in daily production activities.
• Train new and existing employees on procedures, tools, equipment, and safety.
• Oversee setup, cage placement, stressing (where applicable), pouring, curing, and stripping.
• Ensure work follows approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Production Supervisors to address issues promptly.
• Record production data and monitor KPIs.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
