Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Production Supervisor for our plywood mill in Madison, GA. The production supervisor leads a wood products production team to operate in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner within a continuous manufacturing environment.

The Madison facility focuses on building-product panels for residential and light commercial construction, emphasizing safety, reliability, and engagement. This role requires strong leadership in a dynamic plant setting.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of leadership experience.
• Willing and able to work any assigned shift including day, night, weekend and holiday hours.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PC-based production reporting systems applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20 to 30 members across shifting schedules.
• Supervise production efforts to drive improvements in EHS, reliability, quality, production, and costs.
• Facilitate team development, skill growth, and problem-solving.
• Drive safety excellence by promoting employee involvement and accountability to eliminate hazards.
• Monitor product quality and direct crews to maximize efficiency.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
• Work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to noise and non-climate-controlled areas.
