Job summary

The REN Group in Mobile, AL is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production tasks, monitor staff attendance, and assist with training while ensuring GMP compliance and Lean practices. You will oversee machine operation and QA coordination, and validate data accuracy across production lines.

Role involves leading weekly meetings, communicating goals, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced seafood processing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employment with The REN Group or a seafood processing company.
• Excellent management skills and strong verbal and written communications.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours a day in cold and wet environments.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, safety programs, Lean Manufacturing, HACCP basics.
• Weekend and overtime work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct line leads on production tasks based on daily production.
• Monitor attendance, time clock awareness, and daily productivity.
• Assist with training new hires and scheduling.
• Understand how to build a production plan and where to locate information.
• Understand machine operation and give detailed instructions on use.
• Assist QA with monitoring product quality and product flow.
• Learn and explain the importance of Lean Manufacturing.
• Double-check leads and machine data entries.
• Implement GMPs and hold leads accountable for actions.
• Lead weekly meetings and communicate changes and progress toward goals.
