Job summary

O'Neal Industries, Inc. in Alabama seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee one or more shop floors. You will supervise daily production schedules, ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery, and drive cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include auditing operator inspections, coordinating training, and implementing Lean/Six Sigma methods. Strong leadership, OSHA-30 familiarity preferred. Excellent communication in English required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in steel/manufacturing environment preferred.
• 2–4 year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Leadership/supervisory experience required.
• ISO 9001:2015 experience preferred.
• Formal safety training (OSHA 30, NSC) preferred.
• Supervise shop employees, plan schedules, conduct reviews, and manage timesheets.
• Understand safety procedures (JSA, PPE) and enforce them.
• Understand quality practices and customer requirements.
• Speak conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Audit operator inspections and assist Quality to prevent errors.
• Interview and train employees; plan cross-training.
• Coordinate daily machine schedules with Planning/Scheduling.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma methods.
• Support preventive maintenance with Maintenance Department.
• Administer safety policies and discipline when needed.
• Resolve internal and external customer problems/complaints.
• Promote high morale and teamwork; encourage collaboration.
• Oversee welding, machining, shipping/receiving as needed.
