Job summary

O’Neal Manufacturing Services in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Production Manager to oversee plant operations, safety, and performance metrics. The role focuses on lean manufacturing, cost control, and staff development to sustain high-quality output.

You will manage schedules, implement improvements, ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the district while maintaining a union-free environment. Strong leadership required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Production Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Experience with material handling, fabrication, maintenance, scheduling, delivery and safety.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
• ERP system experience required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• 2- or 4-year degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Industrial Management, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Justify and initiate capital expenditure requests and staffing changes.
• Recruit, interview and select warehouse and delivery personnel with training and delegation.
• Control expenses with emphasis on safety and productivity.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve plant operations.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and optimize shipping/receiving.
• Supervise schedules for supervisors, warehouse and delivery personnel.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
