Job summary

Glen-Gery Corporation in Cheswick, PA, is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to oversee brick manufacturing operations. This hands-on role requires knowledge of electrical/mechanical equipment and strong leadership to manage safety, quality, and productivity across the plant.

The successful candidate will coordinate with the supervision team, supervise multiple process areas, and participate in new product development and scheduling.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Technical/production engineering skills preferred.
• College or technical degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with supervision to ensure safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping.
• Supervise a department team across plant processes (raw material, manufacturing, quality control, packaging, shipping, maintenance).
• Participate in new product development and provide input on production capabilities and scheduling.
• Monitor quality and productivity, review performance, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop plans for preventive maintenance and plant improvements with management.
• Recruit and schedule hourly production employees and handle related issues.
