Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a rapidly growing food manufacturer in Hackettstown, NJ seeking a Production Equipment Operator on a direct-hire, full-time basis. The role oversees daily production line operations, operates and monitors industrial equipment, and leads a small team of 1–4 operators.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Previous manufacturing or production experience required.
• Hands-on experience operating industrial production machinery.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a small team.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Reliable commute to Hackettstown, NJ.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of 1–4 production equipment operators.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust industrial production equipment.
• Use HMI screens to monitor performance and production processes.
• Perform startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and inspections.
• Monitor product quality and adjust equipment as needed.
• Maintain production records and downtime logs.
• Ensure GMP, food safety and SOP compliance.
• Coordinate with QA, sanitation, and maintenance teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
