Job summary

Greenfield Milling, operating as Utah Flour Milling, seeks a Lead Production Operator for the Richmond, Utah facility. The role runs 7pm–7am with rotating days and alternating weekends, focusing on safe, high-quality production and on-time delivery.

You will lead a team, monitor OEE and yield, enforce safety and GMP guidelines, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in production/manufacturing or industrial environment.
• 1+ year lead experience in production/manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift operation skills required.
• Safety training provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the production team to meet goals (OEE, yield, capacity).
• Monitor processes to maximize productivity and reduce non-productive time.
• Enforce safety practices and GMP guidelines in daily operations.
• Ensure quality procedures are followed and areas are clean and organized.
• Communicate status to peers and Production Manager.
• Assist in troubleshooting and addressing safety concerns.

The focus of this position is to maximize productivity by taking ownership of the production process, which includes taking responsibility for the safety of personnel, the quality of the finished product, upkeep of equipment, and the elimination of waste of plant and company resources. They report directly to the Production Manager. This individual will work 7pm - 7am, rotating days.
