Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a manufacturing leadership role at our Valdosta, GA facility to lead production planning, supervise shifts, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on coordinating with scheduling, maintenance, and quality teams to meet daily production targets and business goals, and to develop a skilled, diverse, and proactive workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, food science, engineering, business management, or related area.
• 5+ years in progressive leadership roles in a manufacturing environment.
• 10+ years in manufacturing, food processing or dairy processing.
• Nice to have SQF/GFSI formats, CIP/COP and sanitation SOPs knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Production Scheduler to develop weekly production plans and ensure adequate material availability for production lines.
• Lead and develop Shift Supervisors while monitoring plant performance to meet daily production and business goals.
• Work with the Maintenance team to prioritize tasks and identify suitable work windows for production areas.
• Support associate-driven improvement teams focused on production by working with the Continuous Improvement team.
• Ensure compliance with Safety and Food Safety regulations across all production areas to maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders and communicating goals and objectives.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and diversity awareness.
